Jennifer Collins Wins 2009 Outstanding Women’s Business Enterprise Award for the DC Region

President of The Event Planning Group, LLC, (TEPG) and NAWBO member Jennifer D. Collins recently received the 2009 Outstanding Women’s Business Enterprise Award for the DC Region at an awards ceremony in New York City.
 
TEPG is an event management company delivering success for clients and their brands through building strategic meetings and events. Founded in 1997, the company has established itself as a leading event management agency by securing projects with corporate, nonprofit and government clients that have been with the company for many years. TEPG also specializes in building successful programs in the areas of education, science and health.

The award, presented by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO), honors a certified woman-owned business that has contributed to the WPEO, has supported other women in business and has developed innovative solutions to doing business with corporations. The award grants significant recognition to TEPG as the company will take the national stage in March of 2010 as one of 14 WBENC Stars, recognized at the Annual Salute to Women Business Owners black-tie gala, hosted by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
