Nicole Whyte of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP Selected As a 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Semifinalist
NAWBO Member and Founding Partner of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP in Newport Beach, California, Nicole Whyte has been selected as an Orange County/Desert Cities Semifinalist in the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Entering its 23rd year, it is the world’s most prestigious business Awards Program for entrepreneurs. Recognized globally, the awards honor the most outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.

Ms. Whyte is a Founding Principal of Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara LLP. A native of Johannesburg, she received her Bachelor of Arts and her LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1985 and 1987, respectively. After graduating from law school, she served as State Prosecutor at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, handling criminal trials. Following her tenure as State Prosecutor, she gained civil litigation experience at a general practice, civil law firm in Johannesburg, Ms. Whyte immigrated to the United States in 1991, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991 and the Nevada State Bar in 2000. Ms. Whyte has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, with a special focus in the areas of Family Law, Complex Civil Litigation, Trucking Law, and Insurance Defense. In addition to her dedication to her firm, Ms. Whyte is a mother of four, who understands the importance of maintaining a work/life balance.
Started in 1997 as a general civil law firm that prides itself on diversity of cases and diversity of personnel, Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP was the idea of Keith Bremer and Nicole Whyte. At the time of this new venture, Ms. Whyte was working as a Partner at a large Orange County law firm. She made a huge personal sacrifice in walking away from this firm to start Bremer Whyte, yet it was a move that would prove to be very rewarding.
